Lindsay, How will you get food to cook? It looks like most food is raised by the family. If you are on your own, will you garden and trade for protein/meat?

I’m looking forward to it greatly! One more week and then there should be a post about the new place (with pics!).
I will likely buy veggies and pasta etc at the piata (market) and then buy meat and dairy from neighbors and my new host family. Most families without a cow, for example, buy milk from their neighbors. So I’ll be in that crowd
